Description
• As a Director of Warehouse Operations you will contribute to the success of CookUnity by enhancing our Ingredient Handling operations, with a focus on developing processes that reduce food expenditure, improve meal quality, streamline site operations, and enhance our HACCP compliance. • You will work closely with the Supply Chain, Chef Success and Site Ops teams to improve day-to-day operations, including: ordering, receiving, inventory management practices, implementation of the distribution model, and purchasing & recipe data management.
Requirements
• Minimum of 10+ years of management experience in a similar role, such as a management of a Grocery store, warehouse, or procurement department experience • Multi-Unit/Food warehouse/Grocery Store Experience • Experience in food procurement and extensive food handling knowledge • Experience in inventory management • Highly organized, detail-oriented • Understanding of food safety and quality standards • Ability to train and inspire employees to perform at their best • Must be able to deal with stressful situations and environment • Must be able to accommodate flexible working hours including early morning, late night, weekends and holidays • Able to lift up to 50 pounds and push and pull up to 100 pounds • Work in temperature-controlled environments • Able to work onsite 50% of the time (NY, LA, Chicago)
