• Deliver first-class coaching and training for the Software Engineering Programme • Provide mentoring, coaching, and training for learners • Manage a caseload of learners to become better Software Engineering • Customise theoretical course content for each learner • Collaborate with stakeholders to support learner progress • Teach a cohort of learners through their Software Engineering Level 4 programme • Facilitate online and face-to-face workshops • Engage with learners' line managers for progress reviews • Adhere to compliance requirements for the qualification • Collaborate with Skills for Business team for relevant Maths & English qualifications

Requirements

• Expert-level, lived industry experience in Software Engineering/Development • Excellent knowledge of Python, Java, Javascript, C#, Web development, Coding principles, Testing methodologies • Understanding of Software development principles, SDLC, Agile & Waterfall • Security best practice, GDPR, Cloud, Microsoft Azure, Containerization & Docker • Infrastructure as code principles, Design patterns, UML, Algorithms & data structures • Databases, SQL, Command line interface, PowerShell & Bash • Functional programming, Asynchronous programming, APIs, AI • Stakeholder management, Project management skills • Listening, communication, and coaching skills • Goal-setting, assessment, and motivation abilities • Time management, conflict resolution, and feedback skills • Commitment to diversity and inclusive workplace
