• Play a substantial role in the Cresta voice platform engineering team. • Work with product and engineering teams to continuously improve the platform. • Collaborate with customers to analyze technical tradeoffs and own customer-facing deliverables. • Develop high quality system components and contribute to overall system designs. • Optimize platform for lower latency, higher throughput, better reliability, and cost reduction. • Demonstrate engineering best practices and uphold high standards. • Grow into technical ownership in a substantial part of the product and platform. • Contribute to building the best-in-class company and product.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field. • 5+ years of experience in relevant domains. • Proficient in designing and maintaining clear and robust APIs based on strong understanding of various protocols including gRPC, REST, Websocket, etc. • Proficient in handling real-time streaming data with high throughput and low latency. • Experience in high-performance database schema design and query optimization. • Experience in containerized application deployment with Kubernetes. • Experience with one major cloud provider.
