Description

• Design and assemble cloud and other systems • Analyze, design, and develop tests and test-automation suites • Work with cloud, distributed computing, DevOps, containerization, CI/CD, data science, and team tools • Design and develop a scalable, secure, and performant processing platform • Conduct code reviews and provide feedback • Test software development methodology in an agile environment • Provide maintenance, support, and enhancements • Collaborate cross-functionally • Provide recommendations for continuous improvement • Work alongside other engineers to elevate technology and apply best practices • Comply with privacy and quality standards

Requirements

• 2+ years of work experience • Bachelor's degree in software engineering or related discipline • Experience as a backend engineer with system design and architecture focus • Proficiency in Python, JavaScript, and Linux command line • Strong knowledge of database design and optimization • Experience with microservices architecture and containerization technologies • Relational database development and schema design • Ability to learn new open source technologies • Knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JSON • Interest in working with data science code and cloud technologies • Familiarity with REST APIs
