Description

• Deel is looking for a Senior Technical Writer to join the Knowledge Team to build out our documentation and developer guides for API and Strategic Integrations. • Are you a word nerd who loves to explain complex concepts in simple language? Can you spot ambiguities and logical inconsistencies from a mile away? Do you get a kick out of style guides, and know when to follow the rules, and when to break them? If so, this role might be for you. • The Knowledge Team manages and scales information and expertise about Deel products and services across the organization for internal and external audiences. • You’ll have the opportunity to work with other writers and subject matter experts from our API and Strategic Integrations team to craft content that supports this critical business pillar at Deel.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or other technical field or a Bachelor's degree in english, communications, or business with relevant experience in a technical field • 2+ years experience as a technical writer • Excellent written and verbal english communication skills • The ability to translate complex technical concepts into simple language for diverse audiences • Experience drafting technical documentation for technical reference content, guide content, code examples, and API client libraries • Experience with Confluence/Jira, Zen Desk, Figma and/or other diagramming, wire-framing and collaborative tools • Rigorous attention to detail • A portfolio of work including API guides or developer documentation
