📋 Description

• Perform fundamental tasks for estimating, project management and field construction teams in a timely and accurate manner • Prepare take-offs from plans • Create shop drawings and submittals • Screen upcoming bids for size and special requirements such as public, prevailing wage, EEO, bid bond, and allowances • Maintain and update project records as required • Provide support to estimators and project managers as needed • Develop and maintain knowledge of waterproofing, air barrier, and fireproofing products and installation techniques • Perform other analogous tasks • Assist in providing cost estimates by performing take-offs of plans for lighting fixtures • Count fixtures in project blueprints and provide counts to quotation personnel • Analyze project requirements, read blueprints, and collaborate with stakeholders to accurately forecast project costs

🎯 Requirements

• Highly proficient communicator in both spoken and written English • Well-structured and well organized • Outstanding organizational and time management skills • Extremely detail-oriented • Proven history of meeting deadlines • Associate degree in Construction Management, Estimating, Engineering, or similar field and/or equivalent experience • Construction experience in the field, including exposure to materials management and project operations • Ability to read, understand, and estimate from plans • Strong decision-making, planning, and problem-solving skills • Organized and detail oriented with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously • Positive and professional attitude with strong interpersonal and customer service skills • Ability to prioritize and work effectively in a fast-paced environment • Strong verbal and written communications • Familiarity with building/estimating techniques and software platforms, such as ISqFt, Building Connected, PlanSwift, On-Screen Takeoff, QuickBid, Bluebeam/PDF, PlanGrid, Procore, etc. • Proficient with Microsoft Office products • Ability to sit for extended periods of time using a computer and reading plans/specifications • Very proficient written and spoken English
