Description

• Make a difference in the lives of 1,000s of ethical hackers by designing and building the tools they need. • Product designers at Security Roots are always working on different things, from polishing up an existing feature to fundamentally rethinking how we do something. • Our tool, Dradis Framework, is used by 1,000's of hacking experts in 44 countries around the world. • We're looking for folks who like to solve problems and build a business and product that people genuinely love to interact with. • We're small, self-funded, profitable, and have been in business for 12 years. • You'll have the opportunity to make a difference in the lives of 100s of ethical hackers. • As a small team, you will have a lot of choice about what to work on, and there are still a lot of untapped opportunities for you to grow as the company does. • Pitching and designing new features to improve the experience for our users. • Implementing your designs in code, while working closely with the rest of our team. • Discovering opportunities to enhance and improve our design & development process. • Improving our existing products and internal systems. • Prioritizing and deciding what features we should tackle next.

Requirements

• A solid Product Designer with 'adequate' experience who is comfortable in a 100% distributed team and is self-driven. • Ideally, someone who has held a remote position before or has had a similar position of responsibility in a traditional organization. • Familiarity with well-structured HTML/CSS is preferred. • Basic Javascript or Rails skills are a plus. • The ability to communicate verbally and in writing. • Being organized and responsible. • Willingness to learn HTML/CSS if not fluent yet. • Background in Information Security would be beneficial. • Must include the name of your favorite TV series as part of your application. • Belief in giving back to the community.
