Description

• Selling EPLAN LLC • Balancing management of existing customers while building pipeline of new business • Working closely with national consulting engineering team to provide detail-specific solutions for customers • Analyzing customer facilities and requirements to drive business needs through EPLAN platform • Representing and communicating EPLAN’s software and training product line to potential and current customer base • Assessing customer needs and partnering with EPLAN’s professional service specialists to provide full scope of product solutions • Service existing accounts, obtaining orders, and establishing new accounts • Focusing sales efforts by studying existing accounts and past issues • Pitching and adjusting content of sales presentations • Keeping management informed by submitting monthly reports and territory analysis • Monitoring competitive publications, gathering marketplace information • Resolving customer complaints • Attending networking events • Increasing sales and market share within defined territory through daily contact with customers, follow-up on potential leads, and cold calling • Working closely with inside sales team for quotes • Assisting in development of annual business plan and coordinating its implementation • Keeping management apprised of market trends and sales opportunities • Working in conjunction with local distributors • Other duties as assigned

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering, Business Administration/Marketing, or relevant experience • Minimum 2 years of experience selling Enterprise SaaS platforms • Strong knowledge of CAE/CAD marketplace and engineering applications • Preferred experience in industrial automation industry • Strong interpersonal skills and proven ability to develop strong relationships with c-level and senior management • Highly proficient in computer skills including internet, CRM, email, MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint • Complete understanding of consultative and solution selling strategies
