Description

• Responsible for daily accounting activities • Perform journal entries, reconciliations, and other month-end close duties • Complete standard cost rolls • Maintain Cost Accounting Inbox and cost requests • Ensure adherence to Standard Costing Policy and Procedures • Perform standard cost variance analysis • Compile and review purchase price variances • Identify and implement process improvements • Perform ad-hoc financial analysis • Collaborate with internal employees across a variety of departments • Liaison with the external audit team to ensure the timely delivery of audit requests • Responsible for multiple projects with a focus on critical deadlines • Other duties as assigned

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of accounting experience required • Bachelor’s degree in accounting or a similar field required • SAP experience within the manufacturing industry preferred • Ability to independently manage tasks with strong attention to detail and a level of accuracy • Demonstrated analytical, organization, and communication skills • Proficient in MS Office • Advanced MS Excel skills • Experience in Microsoft Access databases preferred • Experience working collaboratively across departments and functional areas
