Description

• Firstleaf is looking for a Senior Financial Analyst to support financial planning and forecasting, drive a cross-functional business performance management process, and partner collaboratively with key internal stakeholders to bring analytical insights that drive financial performance • Key areas of focus: Financial Planning & Scenario Modelling, Business Performance Management & Reporting, and Business Analytics & Decision Support • Fully remote position with 1-2 times per year travel requirement • Responsibilities include iterating forecasting and scenario planning model, supporting preparation of budgets, analyzing business performance, optimizing marketing spend, evaluating operating expenses, supporting cross-functional teams, and conducting cost-benefit analysis • Requirements include Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or similar field, analytical skills, business acumen, fluency in English, ability to influence across functions, CPA or equivalent is a plus, experience in e-commerce finance business partnering, and experience with NetSuite ERP software • Personal attributes desired: problem-solving skills, strategic thinking, personal integrity, organizational skills, flexibility, proactive attitude, self-motivation, teamwork, and continual learning mindset

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or similar field of study or bachelor’s degree • Analytical, financial insight and modeling capabilities, including advanced Excel skills • Highly numerate with a sound understanding of what lays behind numbers that drive revenues, costs and profitability • Demonstrated business acumen and ability to partner collaboratively across functions to influence and drive business decisions • Fluency in written and spoken English with excellent written and verbal structured communication skills and the ability to tell the ‘story’ surrounding the analytics and numbers • Ability to influence up, down and sideways within a fast-paced organization • CPA or equivalent • Experience as a finance business partner in an e-commerce company; experience with subscription models a plus • Experience using NetSuite Enterprise Resource Planning software
