Description

• Play a pivotal role in defining regulatory strategy • Shape the narrative of the organization in a clear and comprehensible manner • Translate regulatory expectations into a system that best suits the unique positioning • Manage existing legal and compliance matters • Envision a future landscape for the organization • Ensure compliance with laws, regulations, and industry standards • Provide legal advice and guidance • Draft, review, and negotiate contracts, agreements, and legal documents • Manage regulatory filings, licenses, and permits • Develop and implement internal policies and procedures • Conduct legal research • Collaborate with external legal counsel • Assess and mitigate legal risks • Participate in strategic decision-making • Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree and active membership in the bar association required • Extensive experience in legal practice with a focus on regulatory compliance, financial services, or cryptocurrency required • Strong knowledge of relevant laws and regulations such as securities, AML, KYC, and data privacy • Experience working in or with the crypto industry • Proven track record of managing regulatory issues and compliance programs • Strong drafting, negotiation, and communication skills • Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and senior executives • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills • Ability to adapt and navigate through a rapidly evolving regulatory landscape • High ethical standards and integrity • Strong leadership and decision-making abilities • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills • Detail-oriented with strong business acumen and strategic thinking • Ability to translate complex legal and regulatory language into layman's terms for internal stakeholders • Visionary approach to legal matters with an ability to balance vision with operational considerations

Requirements
