âą Drive profitable revenue growth through new business development and effective account management. âą Meet gross margin targets as a percentage of sales. âą Execute a professional, customer-centric sales process using tools like scorecards, business reviews, EVE, and CRM. âą Build and manage a robust sales funnel; proactively prospect, cold call, and close new accounts. âą Set and achieve new business targets aligned with long-term growth goals. âą Develop and implement sales plans, budgets, and forecasts; contribute to company-wide planning. âą Maintain and grow accounts through strategic engagement and needs-based solutions. âą Collaborate with channel partners and internal teams (Marketing, Technical, Customer Service) to meet customer needs. âą Provide market feedback and support marketing initiatives. âą Represent the company at trade shows and promotional events. âą Maintain accurate CRM data and sales metrics. âą Act as a business consultant to customers, offering tailored product recommendations and pricing strategies. âą Ensure timely reporting and communication with Sales Manager. âą Deliver results and perform other duties as assigned.
âą Bachelor's Degree in Plastics or Polymer Engineering, Business, Chemistry, or related discipline highly preferred. Highschool diploma and/or GED required. âą 5+ years of sales experience in distribution, manufacturing, sales, account management required. âą Strong Technical aptitude, with proficiency in MS Word & Excel preferred; SAP experience preferred. âą Professional presence, including excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills. âą Broad knowledge of solutions, materials and processing. âą Self-motivated. âą Team player. âą Strong organizational skills required. âą Works autonomously on a day-to-day basis.
