Description

• Fotona is seeking a dedicated Associate Territory Sales Representative based in Richmond, Virginia to aggressively prospect and develop new Dental customers in our multi-state Mid-Atlantic Territory. • This is an excellent opportunity for a driven, organized, and self-directed individual seeking to take their sales career to the next level. • High-volume lead generation, and Capital Equipment, Medical Device, or Dental Sales experience are a plus. • The Sales Professional will gain hands-on education and experience with leading-edge laser technology while receiving a competitive salary and commissions and accelerating their career aspirations. • Candidates must be able to hit the ground running, and continuous study of Fotona products, the dental industry, and laser dentistry are required. • Responsibilities include demonstrating professionalism and establishing a strong sense of trust among Fotona's customer base, managing high-volume cold calls to dental practices, identifying decision-makers and evaluating buying processes, determining prospects' business needs and goals, performing basic product demonstrations at regional events and tradeshows, building strong networks within the organization and the defined territory, and diligently tracking all prospects, leads, and activities using CRM. • Qualifications include 1-2 years of outbound business-to-business sales experience preferred, capital equipment, durable medical equipment, and/or dental sales experience are a plus, ability to develop qualified appointments and apply sales and marketing strategies and principles, excellent phone and in-person sales skills, basic Office Suite and computer/internet skills for efficient documentation, communication, and research, reliable strong work ethic and ability to work independently to produce results, ability to travel within a territory and attend trade shows, trainings, and other events, ability to work flexible hours, including some evenings and weekends, ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs., ability to stand, lift, push/pull, bend, squat, stretch, reach, twist/turn, walk, and reach throughout the day, ability to work at a computer and sit and/or drive for extended periods.

Requirements

• Minimum 1-2 years experience in outbound business-to-business sales experience preferred. • Capital Equipment, Durable Medical Equipment, and/or Dental Sales experience are a plus. • Ability to develop qualified appointments and apply sales and marketing strategies and principles. • Excellent phone and in-person sales skills. • Basic Office Suite and computer/internet skills for efficient documentation, communication, and research. • Salesforce or similar CRM experience is a plus. • Reliable, strong work ethic and ability to work independently to produce results. • Travel within a territory, as well as attendance at trade shows, trainings, and other events, is required for this role. • Ability to work flexible hours, including some evenings and weekends. • Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs. though not on a daily basis, ability to lift and carry over 50 lbs. occasionally, ability to push/pull very heavy equipment on wheels/casters occasionally. • Ability to stand, lift, push/pull, bend, squat, stretch, reach, twist/turn, walk, and reach throughout the day, ability to work at a computer and sit and/or drive for extended periods.
