📋 Description

• Work closely with the Center of Excellence (CoE) for Labor Relations • Lead negotiations on behalf of the HR department • Hold regular meetings with works councils • Maintain constructive and trusting relationships with employee representatives, works councils, and their committees • Coordinate with labor authorities • Manage and coordinate labor law matters with works councils and/or trade unions • Prepare for and conduct negotiations with employee representatives • Advise managers and HR People Partners / Business Partners on collective and individual labor law matters • Ensure compliance with labor, collective bargaining, and corporate law requirements • Support restructurings, reorganizations, and change processes • Collaborate with external legal counsel and participate in labor court proceedings • Train and raise managers’ awareness of labor law and employee relations • Monitor legislative changes, case law, and labor-related negotiations, and follow up with works councils and trade unions

🎯 Requirements

• Completed degree in Law, Business Law, Labor Law, or a related field • In-depth knowledge of collective and individual labor law (BetrVG, ArbZG, TzBfG, etc.) • Preferred: Professional experience in HR, specializing in labor law / Labor Relations, ideally in a company subject to collective bargaining agreements • Preferred: Experience working with employee representatives and leading negotiations • Excellent communication and negotiation skills • Strong interpersonal skills and diplomatic judgment • Ability to resolve conflicts and assert oneself effectively • Structured, solution-oriented approach to work • Discretion, integrity, and resilience • Very good written and spoken German • Good English skills
