Description

• Provide technical leadership for the engineering teams in the Govern sub-department • Collaborate with counterparts across DevSecOps stages and propose engineering work • Teach, mentor, and provide advice to other domain experts • Plan improvements and features with a 6 month view • Solve technical problems of high scope, complexity, and ambiguity • Interact with customers and external stakeholders as a consultant • Improve engineering standards, tooling, and processes • Work on initiatives like providing architectural leadership, implementing complex features, and improving database performance

Requirements

• 2+ years experience as a Staff Engineer or Engineering Manager • Significant experience with Ruby on Rails • Familiarity with Vue.js • Interest in learning security and compliance • Experience in scaling or mission-critical SaaS products • Proficiency in English language • Capacity to communicate complex problems and solutions • Experience with performance optimization • Positive and solution-oriented mindset • Ability to own a project from concept to production • Self-motivated and self-managing • Deep understanding of organization's features and ability to improve processes • Ability to deliver results despite unclear requirements • Conduct regular code reviews
