• Serve as a Site Reliability Engineer • Bring Agile & Lean thinking mindset • Apply software engineering best practices to data • Hands-on experience with large and complete systems hosted in the AWS cloud • Manage Kubernetes-based apps • Familiarity with monitoring & logging systems • Pragmatic approach to problem-solving • Proficient in at least one programming language • Desirable: Software Engineer with AWS knowledge • 3+ years of AWS experience • Open to learning new tools and technologies • Leadership acumen • Experience with SQL

Requirements

• At least three years of relevant industry experience • Agile & Lean thinking mindset • Experience with software engineering best practices applied to data, e.g. automation, testing, contract definition, clean code, CI/CD • Hands-on experience with large and complete systems hosted in the AWS cloud • Hands-on experience with managing Kubernetes-based apps • Experience working with monitoring & logging systems, particularly Elastic stack, NewRelic, LogicMonitor, Papertrail or Pingdom • Pragmatic approach to solving problems • Comfortable writing code in at least one programming language • Desirable: Software Engineer coming from a development or DevOps background • At least 3+ years of hands-on experience with AWS (this is an AWS-focused role) • Hands-on coding experience with Python 3 • Exposure to application performance testing tools (preferably Locust) • Advocate for toil reduction through automation • Advocate for IaC (Infrastructure as Code) • Open to learning new tools and technologies on the job • Leadership acumen • Experience with SQL
