📋 Description

• Configure, maintain, and operate routers, switches, firewalls, load balancers, and monitoring tools • Install physical equipment, connect cabling, organize communication racks, and power devices per documentation • Proactively monitor network infrastructure, respond to alerts, and maintain updated topology documentation • Mentor, coach, and share knowledge with junior team members • Act as an escalation point for complex incidents and requests • Independently handle routine network service requests, access provisioning, and documentation • Troubleshoot and resolve major incidents, lead outage bridges, and perform root cause analysis • Own end-to-end network infrastructure projects, including design, implementation, testing, and handover • Develop subject matter expertise in datacenter networking, firewalls, load balancing, or cloud networking • Collaborate with senior engineers on large-scale infrastructure projects • Design, deploy, configure, and troubleshoot Azure and AWS cloud networking solutions

🎯 Requirements

• 6+ years of experience in core Networking and Security • Strong experience in data security operations (administration, configuration, troubleshooting, and design) • Hands-on experience with multi-vendor firewalls (Checkpoint, Cisco ASA, Cisco Firepower, Fortinet, SonicWall, Palo Alto) • Experience with security tools such as WAF, NIPS, Firewall Analyzer, and DDoS protection • Strong understanding of L3 routing protocols (OSPF, BGP) • Experience with multi-vendor environments (Whitebox is a plus) • Solid knowledge of networking technologies: TCP/IP, DNS, BGP, OSPF, EIGRP, MPLS VPNs, VXLAN, Multicast • Experience with DMVPN, IPSEC, and encryption standards • Strong hands-on experience in deployment, configuration, and troubleshooting of Microsoft Azure networking services, including VNet, subnets, IP Address Management, NSG, Azure Firewall, Azure Load Balancer, Application Gateway, Azure Front Door, WAF, VPN Gateway, ExpressRoute, UDR, NVA, Azure DNS, Traffic Manager, and Network Watcher • Experience troubleshooting Azure network issues, including VNet/subnet/on-prem connectivity, routing misconfigurations, asymmetric routing, NSG/firewall conflicts, load balancing issues, VPN/ExpressRoute failures • Experience designing and implementing hybrid cloud connectivity (on-prem to Azure) • Strong understanding of Azure network security architecture and best practices • Experience with high availability, failover, and disaster recovery design in Azure networking • Hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code using ARM templates, Bicep, or Terraform • Knowledge of AWS networking and architectural principles • Experience with network automation using Python, Shell scripting, and YAML • Familiarity with DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related discipline (or equivalent experience) • Preferred certifications: CCNA / CCNP, Security+, ITIL Foundation, Microsoft Azure Fundamentals / Azure Network Engineer Associate • Strong consulting and communication skills • Ability to work with internal and external stakeholders • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
