• The Customer Training Manager educates customers through pre-recorded videos that are distributed across various digital platforms and social channels while also answering customers' DIY questions via live chat and email. • This end-to-end position includes scripting, set building, prop procurement, on-camera delivery, and close collaboration with production to ensure content is accurate, polished, and aligned with business goals. • Success in this role requires adaptability, as priorities and formats often shift to meet evolving customer and business needs.
• Must be eighteen years of age or older. • Must be legally permitted to work in the United States. • 5+ years of experience in adult learning, training, The Home Depot, corporate education, or a related field. • Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively with team members and cross-functional partners. • Strong research skills to stay current on products, techniques, and to develop accurate training content.
• Strong on-camera presence, especially in customer-facing, educational contexts. • Comfortable serving as a public-facing presence on social media, including appearing in videos and other digital content that represents the brand. • Ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear, engaging learning experiences for diverse audiences. • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, particularly with customers. • Strong research skills to stay current on products, techniques, and to develop accurate training content. • Demonstrated DIY skills and hands-on experience with home improvement projects and/or set building. • Adaptability to shifting project priorities, formats, and deadlines, with the ability to problem-solve and ensure deliverables are met. • Demonstrated ability to take ownership of projects, manage time effectively, and deliver high-quality work in a fast-paced environment. • Proficiency with delivery platforms, Microsoft Office Suite, and other administrative tools. • Ability to work occasional evenings and weekends. • Willingness to learn and grow within the role. • Bilingual (Spanish-speaking) is a plus.
