📋 Description

• Build and further develop InkuPlay’s in-house legal function • Advise management on legal and strategic matters • Draft, review, and negotiate customer, partner, supplier, and other commercial agreements • Develop and standardize contract templates, clause libraries, and Legal Playbooks • Establish efficient contract review and approval processes • Advise on data protection and product privacy matters, particularly in connection with the GDPR, digital products, and emerging technologies • Provide legal support for new products, features, business models, and partnerships • Take responsibility for IP, copyright, trademark, and content-related matters • Support the People team on employment law matters, employment agreements, and freelancer arrangements • Manage corporate law and corporate governance matters • Develop and maintain key internal policies, including those relating to data protection, compliance, AI use, and information security • Identify and prioritize material legal risks • Manage and coordinate external law firms and specialist advisers • Establish transparent legal and contract management, including tracking deadlines, obligations, and relevant risks • Work closely with management, Finance, People, Product, Sales, and other teams

🎯 Requirements

• Qualified lawyer or equivalent legal qualification • Several years of relevant professional experience, ideally gained both at a law firm and in-house • Experience as Legal Counsel, Senior Legal Counsel, Head of Legal, or in a comparable role • Excellent knowledge of general commercial and contract law • Experience drafting and negotiating complex commercial agreements • Good knowledge of data protection law and, ideally, experience with digital products, software, platforms, or technology-driven business models • Experience in IP, media, marketing, or competition law is a plus • Solid understanding of employment law and corporate law matters • Experience building legal processes, templates, or Contract Playbooks is particularly welcome • Ability to assess legal risks from a business perspective and provide clear recommendations • Highly independent and pragmatic working style • Excellent written and spoken German and English
