📋 Description

• Provide legal support for Coupa’s Go-To-Market sales organization across EMEA • Negotiate and draft SaaS master subscription agreements, DPAs, AI terms, professional services agreements, partner agreements, and regulatory addenda including DORA • Handle EMEA Legal team service desk tickets across legal subject matters • Advise on regulatory and customer compliance requirements across the EU/EEA • Build expertise in Coupa’s products, SaaS offerings, security, and data protection policies • Partner with sales operations, finance, product, privacy, security, Deal Desk, and other stakeholder teams • Resolve customer success issues and commercial disputes with customer representatives and internal teams • Help standardize documentation, develop guidelines, and improve team efficiency and effectiveness • Develop training materials and deliver ad-hoc sales enablement sessions • Assist with other assigned projects • Serve as the go-to lawyer for the DACH Region and support multiple jurisdictions across EMEA • Report directly to the Head of Legal EMEA

🎯 Requirements

• Qualified German lawyer • Fluent written and verbal German and English required • 10+ years of relevant experience, including at least 4 years in-house in the tech sector • Ideally exposure to the US software industry • Comfortable working directly with strategic and regulated customers, internal clients, and executives • Ability to handle complex contractual issues quickly and work autonomously • Excellent written and verbal communication skills • Highly responsive and service-oriented attitude • Ability to organize, prioritize, and manage deadlines in a fast-paced, evolving, and demanding environment • Ability to develop and maintain strong working relationships across legal and supporting departments • Ability to think creatively when confronting new issues and pursuing novel approaches • Commitment to excellence and customer success • Master of Laws degree or membership in good standing of a recognized international bar is a plus, not required
