Description

• Designing and implementing tracking algorithms to improve performance of computer vision pipeline • Developing new probabilistic model to track critical work in manufacturing facilities • Constraining problem space creatively to develop practical solutions • Training deep learning models on large datasets • Optimizing deep learning models for small edge device footprint • Managing and directing data annotation teams • Exploring supervised and unsupervised techniques for building perception stack • Building new testing environments based on recent Arxiv papers • Evaluating and testing state of the art human pose model architectures • Reviewing team code and enforcing engineering best practices • Mentoring junior engineers on computer science and computer vision topics

Requirements

• Experience with robotics and computer vision algorithms • 5+ years of experience with C++ and Python in a Linux/Unix environment • 5+ years of experience training and deploying machine learning models • Well versed in state-of-the-art Deep Learning techniques • Experience with concurrent programming including CPU multi-threading, thread pooling, scheduling, real-time threads • Familiarity with CUDA or GPU programming • Familiarity with training and deploying popular deep learning models like RetinaNet, YOLOv8, and EfficientNet using PyTorch • Background in research and complex problem solving • Excellent communication skills and ability to operate in fast-paced ambiguous environments • Effective time management and remote work communications • Passionate about AI and ready to take risks in a startup environment

Benefits

• Estimated base salary guideline range between $170,000 and $190,000 • Additional components such as equity and benefits • Opportunities for progression and development within a role
