📋 Description

• Manage independent specialist retailers and brick-and-mortar stores across all channels and optimize existing business relationships. • Proactively acquire new strategic retail partners and specialist trade (GPK). • Support Key Account Managers in servicing their national customer accounts (e.g., furniture retailers, consumer electronics retailers, department stores, and grocery retail). • Build a strong network and close customer relationships to increase partner engagement and brand loyalty. • Increase sales and profitability by implementing market strategies, developing sales concepts, and actively managing business with persuasive sales presentations. • Achieve product listings, design effective promotions, implement planogram and POS strategies, optimize sales terms, ensure reliable demand planning, and resolve customer issues in line with JJ's brand and market strategy. • Work closely and communicate efficiently with internal stakeholders such as Trade Marketing, Customer Service, Demand Planning, Finance and Controlling to ensure a shared understanding of customer needs and JJ's go-to-market requirements. • Actively participate in and contribute to annual contract and price negotiations, including documenting outcomes and following up. • Attend trade fairs (e.g., Ambiente, TrendSet, EK Live, etc.), specific events, and sales meetings. • Continuously analyze and capture market and consumer insights within your customer remit and report findings to the Country Manager, Key Account Managers and the global headquarters in the UK.

🎯 Requirements

• Proven experience in sales/channel management as a field sales representative or comparable experience in retail. • Bachelor's/Master's degree in Business Administration/Economics or comparable professional qualification, or more than 7 years of sales experience. • Demonstrable success in sales management and business development. • Established relationships and networks with customers/distribution channels are advantageous but not mandatory, provided you are willing to engage proactively and build networks. • Experience working with premium brands is a plus. • Confident in creating and managing forecasts and budgets. • Experience with Fast Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG) or in a fast-paced environment. • Experience working with regional or national key accounts. • Intercultural experience and experience working in project environments. • Understanding of trade marketing including sales planning and promotions. • Knowledge of the housewares market. • Native German required; very good English skills are essential. • High flexibility and willingness to travel.
