📋 Description

• Identification, analysis and evaluation of acquisition opportunities as well as co-development partnerships in the field of large-scale battery storage • Management and support of M&A and transaction processes – from initial approach to signing and closing • Conduct market, competitor and profitability analyses to support strategic investment decisions • Preparation and development of financial models, business cases and decision papers for management and investors • Participation in contract negotiations with project developers, investors, owners and strategic partners • Coordination of internal stakeholders as well as external advisors and law firms, particularly in the context of due diligence processes • Close collaboration with Finance, Legal, Development, Delivery and Operations to provide a holistic assessment of projects and investments • Building and maintaining a relevant network in the areas of energy storage, infrastructure and renewables

🎯 Requirements

• Completed degree in Economics, Industrial Engineering, Energy Economics, Finance, Law or a comparable field • 3–5 years of professional experience in M&A, Corporate Development, Investment Management, Infrastructure Transactions or Energy Investments • Experience in structuring and valuing transactions and a solid understanding of equity and contractual structures • Proficient in financial modelling and economic analyses • Ideally: experience in the energy, infrastructure or renewables sector • Strong analytical skills and a structured, independent way of working • Excellent communication and negotiation skills and a confident manner when dealing with external partners • Regular willingness to travel to our Munich office • Fluent German and very good English
