Description
• Govern and assess software quality through manual and automated testing • Provide timely feedback on requirements, specifications, and design documents • Create comprehensive test plans and cases • Coordinate testing activities and execute automation tests • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify system requirements • Stay up-to-date with new testing tools and strategies • Learn new software and skills to expand QA knowledge • Think creatively to propose solutions • Work efficiently with little supervision
Requirements
• 1-3 years of work experience in software quality assurance • 1-3 years of work experience/knowledge with automation tool development • 1-3 years of work experience with JIRA • 1-3 years experience in Agile/Scrum development • Strong knowledge of project management, software QA methodologies, tools, and processes • Experience in writing clear and comprehensive test plans and cases • Working knowledge of manual, white box, and black box testing • Communication skills, organizational skills, attention to detail, analytical mind, and problem-solving aptitude • Familiarity with automated testing tools such as Selenium, Katalon, Mabl, etc. • Experience tracking bugs and development in JIRA • Experience with XRay, Zephyr, or TestRail is a plus • Experience with performance and/or security testing is a plus • Desired: hands-on work experience with automated testing frameworks • Desired: hands-on work experience with API Testing • Desired: BSc/BA in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
