• Identify, develop, and capture new federal IT business opportunities • Build and maintain strong relationships with federal agency stakeholders, buyers, and influencers • Drive early engagement activities, including securing pre-RFP meetings and shaping acquisition strategies • Support and influence contract pursuits, including prime awards, task orders, and contract vehicle access • Collaborate internally to align sales strategies with the companies technical capabilities and offerings
• 8+ years of progressive experience in federal business development, capture management, or federal IT sales within a government contractor • Demonstrated, current relationships with federal IT decision-makers and influencers • Proven track record of: • Securing and leading pre-RFP engagements with program and acquisition stakeholders • Influencing acquisition strategies and contract pathways • Contributing to or leading successful federal contract wins (e.g., prime awards, major task orders, or contract vehicle on-ramps) • Strong understanding of federal acquisition processes and vehicles • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills, with the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels
