Description

• Prepare reinsurance settlement statements for all customers • Review and understand all reinsurance contracts • Reconcile underlying accounting records and transactions • Communicate clearly and professionally to resolve discrepancies with external third-party teams • Respond to inquiries from internal and external stakeholders • Automate reporting to stakeholders

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field • 1-2 years of experience in the insurance industry in a data-intensive role • Experience reconciling policy and claims data preferred • Attention to detail and an ability to organize work around tight deadlines • Strong Excel skills, and a willingness to adopt new technologies • Self-starter, with a thirst for learning and a desire to work in a fast-paced start-up environment
