Description

• Seeking a detail-oriented and curious Senior Accountant, Revenue & Billing to join finance team • Responsible for overseeing timely invoicing and purchase order processing for multiple entities • Assist Accounting Manager with ensuring revenue recognition for three entities • Assist with timely reporting of internal revenue and invoicing metrics • Oversight of Accounts Receivable Process to ensure customer accounts remain current • Review customer contracts and purchase orders to ensure compliance

Requirements

• 3-7 years of accounting and billing/invoicing experience; experience in a high-growth environment and government contracting is preferred • Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, business or equivalent • Attention to detail is required • Understanding of US GAAP and ASC 606 revenue recognition rules spanning software and services business models • Government contract accounting experience preferred • Self-starter with strong problem-solving skills • Ability to work cross-functionally with other teams in a remote environment • Experience with the following business applications is highly desirable: NetSuite, Salesforce, Customer portals, such as Exostar • Intermediate/advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel • Practical hands-on experience in a fast-paced, rapidly growing, and evolving business environment • Experience in software industry, professional services businesses or government subcontracts is preferred
