Description

• Develop new internal applications supporting product catalog and interfaces and integrations, using Node.js, GO, and other relevant technologies • Design and implement microservices architecture to ensure scalability and flexibility • Utilize AWS services for hosting, deployment, and management of applications • Develop and maintain APIs for seamless communication between different systems and services • Design and manage databases using Postgres SQL for efficient data storage and retrieval • Implement message queueing systems using Kafka for asynchronous communication between services. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and implement solutions that meet business needs • Troubleshoot and debug issues in existing applications as needed • Stay updated on emerging technologies and industry trends to continuously improve development processes and practices

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or related field • 5 + years of experience in software development, with a focus on full stack development • Proficiency in Typescript, GO, and other relevant programming languages • Expertise in unit testing and knowledge of TDD & BDD development patterns • Hands-on experience with AWS services such as EKS/Fargate, S3, Lambda, API Gateway, Event Bridge, etc. Strong knowledge of API development and integration • Proficiency in Postgres SQL for database design and management • Familiarity with Kafka or similar message queueing systems • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail • Strong communication and collaboration skills • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
