Description

• DesignShop is seeking a Lead Front End Engineer to build a brand new consumer facing website. You will be a part of multi-disciplinary team creating innovative products with state of the art technology, collaborating with designers and software engineers continuously. You will be involved in providing critical inputs in decision making related to choice of technology and tools. You will be working closely with the backend engineering team to define standards for integrations. You will be responsible for engineering critical aspects of the site including tooling for SEO, site analytics, monitoring, optimization, and choice of testing frameworks.

Requirements

• Master's degree in Computer Science • 5+ Strong expertise in React and related libraries, with the ability to design and develop complex user interfaces using React components. • Proficiency in HTML, REACT and CSS, including knowledge of CSS preprocessors like SASS or LESS. • Familiarity with UI/UX design principles and the ability to collaborate effectively with designers to create visually appealing and user-friendly interfaces. • Knowledge of cross-browser compatibility issues and solutions to ensure consistent performance across different web browsers. • Create intuitive and responsive User Interfaces (UI) that provide an exceptional user experience, leveraging your expertise in front-end technologies. • Able to maintain high-performance service requirement.
