Description

• Managing and maintaining social media accounts and broadcast messaging programs for 3-5 clients • Contributing to follower growth, fundraising, and list building on social media • Posting on various social media platforms • Creating graphics and short-form videos for social media posts • Remain plugged in to political news and trends • Managing and interfacing with clients directly • Pulling, analyzing, and presenting social media and texting performance metrics • Drafting copy for fundraising and mobilization through SMS • Managing texting production and developing other assets • Proposing ideas for testing, segmentation, optimization • Implementing list growth strategy • Assisting in project management of P2P texting campaigns • Additional responsibilities as assigned

Requirements

• 2-3 years of experience in professional social media management • Experience with peer-to-peer and/or broadcast texting for political clients preferred • Previous fundraising experience strongly preferred • Able to manage client projects largely without assistance • Demonstrated commitment to and knowledge of progressive politics • Strong copywriting skills • Ability to adapt writing to client voices and perspectives • Attention to detail while managing tight deadlines and multiple content calendars • Basic graphic design and video editing skills preferred but not required • Knowledge of various CRMs preferred but not required
