• Create unique travel and event experiences connecting donors and prospects to TNC’s mission, Asia Pacific priorities, and One Future campaign • Lead a portfolio of bespoke custom trips and events for high-level donors and prospects • End-to-end project manage multiple donor trips and events annually • Plan and execute logistics and deliverables with internal and external partners • Anticipate challenges, evaluate alternatives, implement solutions, and communicate with stakeholders and APRO Development leadership • Liaise with regional teams on specific trip and event activities • Manage guidelines, policies, procedures, information analysis, documentation, and workflow improvements • Provide advice, recommendations, and training to colleagues across Asia Pacific and the wider organization • Develop, plan, and execute travel and event activities within the Asia Pacific region • Manage multiple projects, deadlines, budgets, invoices, transfers, vendors, and negotiations • Support programme, department, and organization-wide goals and strategies • Escalate issues and decisions with broader programme impact to APRO Development leadership • Manage complex accounts or client relationships • Travel occasionally and work long and flexible hours as needed • Lead interdepartmental teams and coordinate peers without supervising staff
• Bachelor’s degree and 5 years related experience, or equivalent combination • Experience planning and managing high-touch travel projects and programmes • Experience managing and implementing multiple projects • Experience navigating relationships with vendors and travel stakeholders • Experience supervising staff, interns, and/or volunteers • Experience with current and evolving technology in the relevant field • Experience working across departments and with cross-functional teams • Experience, coursework, or other training in relevant field • Multi-lingual and multi-cultural or cross-cultural experience appreciated • Ability to work collaboratively or in an advisory role • Ability to conceive and write creatively for varied audiences • Experience developing, managing, and implementing goals, plans, and complex processes • Expert knowledge of technology related to donor communications • Expert knowledge of communications trends, preferably in a nonprofit environment • Proficiency interpreting guidelines and manipulating, analyzing, and interpreting data • Experience managing and implementing strategic programme goals • Superior planning and problem-solving skills • Familiarity with visual storytelling and/or design best practices • Understanding of accounting practices • Ability to travel occasionally and work long and flexible hours as needed • Successful applicant must meet TNC’s background screening requirements
