Description

• Maintain accurate financial records by recording transactions • Process invoices and prepare payments in timely manner • Issue invoices to customers, track receivables, and follow up on overdue payments • Reconcile bank statements and identify discrepancies • Assist in preparing financial statements • Calculate and submit VAT returns to HM Revenue & Customs • Review employee expense reports and process reimbursements • Provide support during internal and external audits • Assist management with financial analysis, budgeting, and forecasting • Collaborate with colleagues to provide financial information as needed • Identify opportunities to streamline accounting processes and enhance efficiency • Utilize accounting software and Microsoft Excel proficiently • Pursue continuous learning and development opportunities to enhance accounting knowledge and skills

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in finance or related field with 2 years of post qualification experience • Big 4 Background or equivalent • Knowledge of UK tax law and HMRC • Knowledge of IFRS • Strong numerical skills • Ability to collaborate with all levels of management • Proficiency in financial management software (Xero and MS Excel) • Would be beneficial if you had: • Experience in blockchain (especially Ethereum) or crypto industry • Experience in Fintech • Previous in-house accounting experience in start-up environment • Knowledge of US GAAP
