Description

• Bachelor's Degree in Economics, Mathematics/Statistics, Computer Science or other field related to Data Science • Experience in analyzing healthcare cost, utilization, and clinical data • Familiarity with Medicare and/or Medicaid pricing systems and methodologies • Basic familiarity with healthcare coding systems such as ICD-10, CPT, HCPCS • Familiarity with data engineering, model deployment systems, CI/CD, etc • Experience or a strong interest in providing mentorship to junior data scientists • Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and some nights

• Demonstrated 3 to 5 years of experience in developing and delivering production data science solutions, with a clear understanding of the product development life cycle • Proven applied experience in implementing a variety of data mining and statistical methods, utilizing a range of big data tools, and constructing and implementing machine learning models and algorithms • Significant experience with standard data science coding languages and tools such as Python, R, SQL, Git, and SQL/NoSQL databases, among others • Familiarity with data science model maintenance and at least one cloud computing platform (such as AWS, Databricks, Snowflake, etc.) • Expertise in rapid proof of concept development, encompassing data science research and experimentation, and translating results into next-generation solutions • Desire to collaborate in a diverse, multi-disciplinary team, identify and explore data-driven solutions to problems, and engage in high-impact projects • Ability to effectively communicate technical work and results to a wide audience
