📋 Description

• Collaborate with team members to deliver high-quality, high-throughput software • Implement scalable and resilient solutions using varied technologies • Design, develop, test, and deliver software hands-on • Participate in meetings, code reviews, and refactoring efforts • Mentor junior engineers • Partner with leadership to ensure operational success across teams • Improve designs, processes, and products by reducing cost and improving efficiency and quality • Drive informed decision-making to achieve and maintain PCI and WCAG compliance • Lead engineering teams building the client's fundraiser management platform • Deliver scalable, production-ready code for new and existing features • Deliver product changes each sprint and help fill team gaps to keep sprints on track

🎯 Requirements

• Expert proficiency with one or more of: JavaScript (Node.js), JavaScript (React), PHP, relational databases (MySQL/PostgreSQL), or NoSQL document stores • Prior experience authoring technical documentation and requirements • Familiarity with AI-assisted development tools such as GitHub Copilot, Claude, or Cursor, including evaluating, integrating, and critically reviewing AI-generated code • Prior experience transitioning monolithic applications into distributed architecture • Experience leading a group of engineers to successful project completion • Experience with asynchronous programming • Prior experience writing unit tests • Expert working knowledge of software design patterns and standards, API interactions, and the software development life cycle • Degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience • Collaborative, positive attitude and strong sense of ownership • Bonus: proficiency with AWS or other cloud services • Bonus: experience with event-driven technologies such as Apache Kafka • Bonus: familiarity with GraphQL, GitLab, Atlassian Suite, Heap, Split.io, or Datadog • Bonus: experience creating and improving cloud-based infrastructure • Bonus: master's degree or further education/experience in engineering, computer science, or a related technical field
