Description

• Lead a dedicated Engineering team within the Advertising department focusing on ad serving and measurement, ad personalization, and system design • Work collaboratively with Product, BizOps, and CS departments • Mentor, coach, and guide the engineering team for career growth • Incubate new ideas and create the engineering roadmap • Collaborate with business partners and product managers to solve complex problems through technical solutions

Requirements

• 4+ years managing a team of 5+ software engineers • 8+ years of professional software engineering experience with focus on full-stack development • Deep understanding of system design, data structures, and algorithms • Professional experience with large-scale distributed systems • Professional experience with relational and NoSQL databases • Strong product mindset with large project delivery experience • Familiarity with A/B testing in production environments and data analysis for feature launches • BS or MS in Computer Science, Computer/Software Engineering, Information Systems/Technology, Information Science, or related discipline • Eligible to work in the United States • Helpful but not required: Experience with cloud infrastructure AWS, domain experience in advertising, familiarity with legal compliance in advertising, and experience with Java, Javascript, and Typescript
