Description

• Collaborate with engineers to implement services for OneSignal's product offerings • Participate in code reviews and Technical Design Spec reviews • Resolve production issues and ensure system scalability • Conduct data analysis and performance monitoring • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and technologies • Participate in production on-call rotation • Drive multiple experiments to unblock business and customer operations • Design APIs and storage schemas for distributed systems • Improve system performance through benchmarking and profiling

Requirements

• 5+ years of software engineering experience • Experience operating reliable production systems at scale • Automation skills and experience using relational databases • Familiarity with Rust and/or Golang • Understanding of distributed system event streaming frameworks • Knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes • Bonus: experience with Redis, Kafka, Scylla, Apache Cassandra, gRPC, performance profiling, debugging distributed systems
