• We are looking for a talented and creative problem solver to be a Sr. Product Manager at Oportun for Servicing and Collections, delivering critical capabilities to improve member experience. • Responsible for various Servicing and Collections initiatives. • Articulate product strategy, set objectives and key results, define roadmaps and work with the cross-functional team to deliver best-in-class solutions. • Collaborate with a cross functional team of engineers, designers, business, analytics, and finance partners to deliver critical business initiatives.


• 7+ years of product management experience in high-growth environments, with experience in the financial services industry (FinTech, challenger bank, etc.) highly preferred. • Passionate about improving the financial health of Oportun’s customers. • Experience working and delivering on complex problems. Excels in making data-informed decisions (testing and experimentation, defining metrics, data analysis). • Shipping and iterating on impactful products that required partnering with and building consensus across a wide group of cross-functional partners. • Clear and concise communicator with superb documentation skills. Comfortable navigating through ambiguous problem spaces in pursuit of clarity and concrete outcome. • Solution-oriented and able to help the team push through obstacles and blockers to deliver value for members. Able to break apart something very complex into logical, understandable, and sequenced parts of a roadmap and gain buy-in as needed. • Experience launching products within complex legal and regulatory frameworks such as Finance, experience with SQL, and experience working with a multi-national workforce.
