Description

• Prepare balance sheet reconciliations, month-end work papers, and other month-end duties as assigned. • Analyze Profit Margins and Manufacturing Costs • Contribute to the development of new or amended accounting systems, programs and procedures • Analyze and report monthly gross margin analysis by customer, part number and production jobs • Analysis of PPV and Cost Variance • Study and collect data to determine costs of business activities such as raw material purchases, inventory and labor • Assist in training of junior accounting team members • Assist with annual financial audit • Preparation of Ad hoc Reporting as requested by Plant Operations Management • Act as back up for accounts payable team • Other duties as assigned

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in accounting and minimum of 5 years of manufacturing accounting experience required • Strong MS Office experience and proficiency with developing and using spreadsheets and/or databases. • Above-average communication skills, both written and verbal. • NetSuite experience preferred. • Understanding of U.S. GAAP as it applies to a manufacturing environment is required • Ability to travel up to 30%
