📋 Description

• Manage and optimize costs in cloud environments with a focus on AWS. • Analyze resource usage and propose efficiency and cost-reduction initiatives. • Develop and maintain analyses, reports and dashboards for financial and operational monitoring. • Build automations to implement cost optimizations in cloud environments. • Collaborate with engineering, architecture and business teams to ensure the best allocation of resources. • Identify continuous improvement opportunities through tools and FinOps best practices. • Support the definition of efficient, resilient and cost-optimized architectures.

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Technology or a related field. • Knowledge of AWS, including configuration and administration of services such as ECS, VPC, networking, security rules (Security Groups), AWS Config, Lambda, S3 (including tiering), Flow Logs, CloudWatch, CloudTrail, AWS Glue, QuickSight, Organizations, IAM and permission management. • Experience with infrastructure as code, preferably Terraform. • Programming knowledge with proficiency in Python and SQL. • Knowledge of applied statistics (mean, median, standard deviation, forecasting). • Understanding of cloud application architectures (containers, clusters, EKS, use of Spot Instances, among others). • Familiarity with AWS pricing models, including Reserved Instances, Savings Plans, Spot Instances, Cost and Usage Reports (CUR), Cost Explorer and AWS Pricing Calculator. • Ability to design cloud application architectures following best practices such as use of CDN, firewalls, API Gateway, multi-AZ and multi-region architectures, high availability, redundancy and fault tolerance. • Experience identifying cost-optimization opportunities using tools like AWS Trusted Advisor and Compute Optimizer.
