• perform HR related duties on a professional level and works closely with the HR Team and Senior Management • carry out responsibilities in all functional HR areas, including employee on- and off-boarding, benefits administration, employee relations, training, performance management, compensation, HRIS administration, policy implementation, employment matters, employee relations, affirmative action and employment law compliance • support other projects and initiatives • responsible for onboarding and out-processing • maintain organized records of personnel files, benefits plans, and labor relations files • administer and track FMLA, STD and other leave programs • administer and track ADA related requests and participate in the interactive process • provide day-to-day performance management guidance to line management • advise, manage, and resolve complex employee relations issues • conduct effective, thorough, and objective investigations • maintain in-depth knowledge of legal requirements related to day-to-day management of employees • assist with preparation/filing annual required reports, including Affirmative Action, EEO-1 and Vets-100 reports • administer compensation and performance appraisal programs • maintain HRIS and prepare standard and ad-hoc reports • establish and maintain positive relationships with executives, managers, & employees
• Bachelor’s degree in Business/Human Resources Management • at least 6 years of generalist experience in all Human Resources functions • Experience in all human resource disciplines, including employee relations, benefits administration, onboarding, compensation practices, HRIS administration, performance management • strong knowledge in federal and state employment laws • Experience partnering with management in resolution of employee relations issues and performance/disciplinary issues • Excellent verbal and written communication skills • Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail • Ability to comprehend, interpret, and apply laws, guidelines, regulations, ordinances, and policies • Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills • Technically proficient with HRIS system(s), Applicant Tracking system(s) and Microsoft Office Suite • Must be able to travel, work in an office setting, sit or stand for prolonged periods working on computer.
