Description

• Full Stack Software Engineer role at Prefect • Work on and lead projects important to the success of the company • Responsible for both frontend and backend development • Coordinate with team members on new features and help Prefect execute product roadmap • Mentor and provide leadership to other members of the engineering team • Advocate for user empathy across all products and support users through multiple channels

Requirements

• 5-8+ years of total programming experience with Python and Typescript (or JavaScript) and Vue (or a similar JS framework) • Knowledge of building scalable, modular user interfaces • Genuine user empathy in design and implementation • Experience with Python including asyncio, testing frameworks, concurrency, ORMs, and distributed computing frameworks such as Dask and Spark • Experience with cloud services (AWS, Azure, GCP) • Experience deploying Kubernetes applications • Experience visualizing complex data • Experience contributing to open-source projects • Strong focus on product-led growth strategy
