📋 Description

• Lead efforts to design and implement software and support systems using industry best practices • Serve as a technical leader and mentor by conducting design reviews, guiding junior engineers, and influencing the team's technical roadmap • Collaborate with engineers and business stakeholders to identify and implement software solutions to business problems • Establish and enforce data quality standards through validation frameworks, anomaly detection, and SLA-driven alerting • Troubleshoot and resolve production incidents, perform root-cause analysis, and drive preventive improvements • Define and drive engineering best practices, including code reviews, CI/CD for data pipelines, and DataOps principles

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or similar technical field of study • 8+ years of professional software or data engineering experience, with at least 4 years focused on cloud data platforms • Strong Python programming skills • Proficiency in coding in any other language, preferably Java and Golang • Strong understanding of highly distributed architecture • Experience working with secured APIs (REST, GraphQL, etc.) • Cloud computing experience (AWS, GCP, Azure, or similar) • Experience in Docker and Kubernetes, preferred • Experience working with observability and monitoring tools (Grafana, Kibana, etc.) • Strong experience working with agile development teams • Understanding of best practices in performance tuning • Excellent communication, planning and organizational skills
