📋 Description

• Prepare monthly Profit & Loss, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow, and management reports across multiple entities • Manage month-end closing, reconciliations, journal entries, accruals, and financial records • Support financial consolidation across clinical entities and business units • Manage intercompany transactions and reconciliations • Manage Xero and Hubdoc transaction processing, workflows, and reporting automation • Prepare BAS workpapers, payroll reports, financial schedules, and year-end accounting files • Support external accountants and advisors with compliance, audits, and statutory reporting • Review financial data, operating expenses, provider payments, and business performance metrics • Provide insights on costs, margins, and financial trends • Process and review invoices, bank reconciliations, accounts payable/receivable, and financial transactions • Maintain strong internal controls • Work with the internal team to ensure timely client service delivery and meet client expectations

🎯 Requirements

• CPA, CA, or internationally recognized equivalent is preferred • Demonstrated experience supporting Australian businesses • Strong knowledge of Australian accounting practices, including BAS, PAYG, payroll tax, superannuation, and statutory compliance requirements • 5–10 years of accounting experience • At least 3 years supporting Australian companies • Experience in multi-entity environments, healthcare, professional services, retail, or similar industries is highly desirable • Strong hands-on experience with Xero and Hubdoc • Experience with accounting systems, financial reporting tools, and workflow automation is preferred • Familiarity with Dental4Windows, Carestack, or ERP systems is an advantage • Experience in month-end closing, reconciliations, journal preparation, financial reporting, consolidation support, and maintaining accurate financial records • Excellent written and spoken English skills • Comfortable collaborating with external accountants, management teams, and operational stakeholders • Highly organized and detail-oriented • Comfortable working independently in a hands-on accounting role • Must be able to own assigned finance processes
