📋 Description

• Own the end-to-end month-end close process across all entities, completing the close within 10 working days each month • Review and approve journal entries, reconciliations and adjustments, implementing a QA process to ensure zero material errors • Maintain the multi-entity general ledger in Xero • Oversee intercompany accounting and reconciliation across entities • Oversee accounts payable, including invoice processing, payment runs and supplier reconciliations • Oversee accounts receivable, aged debtors and collections follow-up • Manage monthly bank reconciliations across all entity bank accounts • Ensure cash disbursements are authorised and recorded • Manage tax filings, including GST/VAT, corporate tax and withholding tax • Support statutory accounts preparation and coordinate annual audits • Ensure compliance with local accounting standards and regulatory requirements • Design, implement and maintain financial controls • Identify control gaps and process risks and implement improvements • Support process documentation, SOP development and finance system improvements • Directly manage and develop three Finance Accountants • Set task allocation, priorities and expectations, especially during close cycles • Build accountability, accuracy and continuous improvement within the team • Resolve team queries and escalate to the VP Finance when required • Support onboarding of new team members • Provide accurate financial data to FP&A for reporting and forecasting • Coordinate process handovers to Revenue Management and Finance Transformation • Liaise with external auditors, tax agents and regulatory bodies • Assist with acquisition due diligence and financial integration activities

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field • 7–10 years of progressive experience in finance operations or accounting • At least 2–3 years of experience in a team management role • Proven experience managing multi-entity accounting across multiple jurisdictions • Hands-on experience with Xero, including multi-currency, multi-entity setup and reconciliation workflows • Strong command of accounting principles, including IFRS/MFRS, financial controls and compliance requirements • Track record of owning and improving month-end close processes with focus on accuracy and timeliness • Experience working with external auditors and managing statutory reporting obligations • Professional qualification such as ACCA, CPA or equivalent preferred • Experience in a SaaS, technology or high-growth company environment preferred • Exposure to post-acquisition financial integration preferred • Familiarity with payroll accounting across Southeast Asian and ANZ jurisdictions preferred • Experience in a lean finance team where ownership and initiative are essential preferred
