• As an analyst-obsessed company, Andesite’s primary focus is on improving the capabilities and efficiencies of cyber defense teams and their analysts. Its advanced technology is geared toward simplifying cyberthreat analysis and enabling analysts to predict threats, prioritize and allocate resources, and take preemptive action before attacks can occur. • At Andesite, we are building a product suite to supercharge cyber security analysts. As a backend engineer, you will be responsible for building technology that can analyze and enrich large volumes of data to support our product capabilities. • What You Will Do: - Design and implement robust backend solutions to handle complex data - Develop, scale, and optimize our machine learning infrastructure - Collaborate with cross-functional teams, partners, and customers to understand needs, offer insights, and tailor data systems to meet these needs - Build our next generation of data processing and analysis systems

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field • Minimum of 2 years of experience in backend engineering with expertise in data structures, algorithms, and software design • Proficiency in programming languages like Python, Java, or C++ • Experience with cloud-based solutions (AWS, GCP, Azure) and familiarity with containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes) • Excellent written and verbal communication skills • Strong desire to protect national security interests • Currently in the Washington DC area, able to relocate, or ability for frequent travel 25% of the time
