📋 Description

• Provide day-to-day administrative support to the sales team • Confirm sales calls, meetings and appointments with prospective clients • Follow up with contacts after events, enquiries and initial conversations • Contact prospects to gather feedback and assess whether they want a further meeting • Identify potential sales opportunities and refer qualified prospects to the appropriate salesperson • Maintain accurate customer, lead and appointment records • Update sales reports, spreadsheets and internal tracking systems • Support the sales team across multiple reporting requirements • Complete follow-up actions accurately and on time • Assist with customer nurturing throughout the sales journey • Communicate professionally with estate agents, clients, prospects and other stakeholders • Work closely with the Sales Manager and remote sales representatives to keep the pipeline organised • Support the introduction and adoption of new systems, including Salesforce, when required

🎯 Requirements

• Previous experience in sales administration, sales support, customer service or customer success • Confident and professional telephone manner • Ability to build rapport quickly with customers and prospects • Strong organisational and time-management skills • Excellent written and verbal communication skills • Confidence to proactively contact people by telephone • Ability to recognise potential opportunities and book appropriate follow-up meetings • Strong attention to detail • Ability to manage several priorities and follow-up tasks simultaneously • Proactive and dependable approach to work • Ability to work independently in a remote environment • Experience supporting salespeople or a sales team would be advantageous • Ability to learn new software quickly; prior experience with listed systems is helpful but not essential • Availability for approximately 10:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. South African time, with some flexibility for later customer calls
