📋 Description

• Support sustainability consultants by preparing, structuring and analysing client data for carbon accounting and sustainability reporting • Review, clean and transform unstructured client data from Excel files, PDFs, scanned documents, operational reports and exported system data • Consolidate data formats into structured datasets and Excel reports for carbon modelling and reporting • Identify data inconsistencies, errors and anomalies, including missing information, incorrect units, duplicate entries and unusual trends • Compare current client data with historical information and highlight discrepancies for investigation • Prepare summaries and reports explaining data issues, trends and findings • Take ownership of repetitive, data-heavy tasks so consultants can focus on higher-level consulting activities • Build and improve Excel-based tools, templates and workflows • Perform data quality checks before transfer to Power BI reporting tools • Identify opportunities to automate manual processes using technology and AI tools • Assist with AI-supported workflows, documentation and repeatable processes • Collaborate with consultants and internal teams through Microsoft Teams, SharePoint, Slack and other collaboration tools • Continuously improve data preparation processes, turnaround times and delivery quality

🎯 Requirements

• At least 3 years of experience in data analysis, business analysis, reporting, auditing, financial analysis or a similar analytical role • Strong experience with large, complex and unstructured datasets • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including PivotTables, formulas, lookups, filtering, sorting and data cleaning • Experience with Power BI reporting and data visualisation • Experience analysing operational, financial, customer or business data • Strong attention to detail and ability to identify errors, patterns and unusual data behaviour • Experience with Excel, CSV, PDF and scanned document formats • Ability to translate business requirements into structured data solutions • Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive process-improvement mindset • Ability to work independently and collaborate with consultants and remote teams • Excellent written English communication skills • Experience with Microsoft Teams, SharePoint or similar collaboration platforms • Comfortable learning new systems, tools and technologies
