Description
• Craft high-performance backend APIs within the AWS ecosystem • Improve collector experience and develop administration systems and internal tools • Utilize Elixir programming language and functional programming concepts • Collaborate on strategic decisions with engineering teammates • Deploy quality APIs and tools like Terraform • Leverage cutting-edge technologies like Phoenix Framework with LiveView frontends and Postgres databases • Utilize RabbitMQ for an event-based system • Engage in continuous integration and deployment using GitHub Actions
Requirements
• 4+ years of professional software engineering experience • Experience building web applications with Phoenix or similar frameworks • Strong proficiency in Elixir programming language • Understanding of JavaScript, HTML, and CSS • Familiarity with database systems and PostgreSQL • Experience with Git and team collaboration • Strong problem-solving and debugging skills • Excellent communication and collaboration abilities • Experience with Kubernetes, Docker, Terraform, or similar technologies • Familiarity/interest in CQRS and evented system concepts • Experience in integrating legacy systems with modern platforms
