• Build and lead the engineering team in Latin America • Report to the global Chief Technology Officer • Attract, hire, manage, and retain top technical talent in the region • Establish engineering presence in Latin America • Serve as regional leader and key decision-maker for operational matters • Create team goals aligning with organization's vision and goals
Requirements
• 10+ years of software engineering experience • 6+ years of people management experience • Previous experience in country, regional, and/or site leadership • Proven track record in attracting, hiring, and retaining a high-performing technical team • Experience in planning and executing ideas in a fast-paced environment • Ability to build a startup engineering team in Latin America that can scale rapidly • Strong leadership skills and strategic thinking
