Description

• In this role, as part of the legal team, you will work closely with Sardine’s teams to guide and drive our privacy and data governance, help draft, review, and negotiate commercial contracts, and build the legal infrastructure to support our commercial customers at scale. You will also support various special projects that arise at our fast-paced, mission-focused company.

Requirements

• J.D. from an ABA-accredited law school with admission to a state bar • 5+ years of relevant experience • Prior experience in B2B SaaS and Financial Services is a plus • Expertise in US and international privacy and data protection laws, regulations, standards, and practices, particularly GDPR and CCPA/CPRA, but also GLBA and FCRA. • Experience drafting and negotiating technology agreements, including SaaS and technology distribution agreements • Experience negotiating with banks and other regulated financial services companies • Demonstrated experience and a track record of success in drafting and negotiating a broad scope of contracts from initiation to closeout • Strong interpersonal and communication skills • Ability to identify, articulate, and mitigate legal, regulatory, and compliance risks
